I am telling this story about my boyfriend's brother. He had always wanted a Maloo Ute so when the right one came along he bought it. It was a VS Series II 1998 with only 33,000 kms. He was really excited. He bought the ute on a Saturday, he had got an insurance quote but he thought he might pay for the insurance during the week, he isn't known for being prompt (or bright) so my boyfriend made him pay for the insurance before he left the car yard. On the Thursday and uninsured driver ran up the rear of him and caused over $20,000 damage. Now the insurance company are suing the driver of the car and he has nothing to drive. Luck he has other people to think for him.
