Bluey’s Carry Racks come in a wide range of “off-the-shelf” types, or we can tailor a set for your specific needs. Ladder Racks come with Rabbit Ears (right) or Pegs (Additional charge) (left). Trade Racks (centre) provide the widest possible width for carrying wide sheets of material (up to 1350mm)

The most popular Carry Racks are made from polished aluminium alloy. The Thicker the diameter (and walls) the stronger the bar. Options include 4″ or 102mm (left), 3″ or 76mm (centre) and 2 1/2″ or 63mm (right).

Trade Racks look very impressive when Installed in your Ute. The rear bar is “removable” so that you can still load large items across your tailgate. We also run a PVC protection strip (an additional charge) along the tops of both bars to protect them from wear & tear.

A Rear Ladder Rack can be combined with front Sports Bars. When you want to “work” you leave the Ute set up with rear bar in place. When it’s time to “look good” you can slip the (removable) rear bar out and just retain the Sports Bar look. (In this case we added rollers on the top of all bars to accommodate ladders that can be easily loaded and stored.)

Ladder Racks also feature a removable rear bar for loading ease. The Rail Mount design installs on the Ute’s top rails, avoiding the need to drill holes in the tray floor. Racks can be supplied with or without Pegs & Rabbit Ears as required.

Ladder Racksare now available for the VU/VY/VZ/VE Commodore and Crewman Utes and the Ford AU/BA/FG. Available in a variety of sizes (63mm, 76mm, 102mm diameter) and with Pegs or Rabbit Ears on top. Shown here is a set of 63mm polished aluminium alloy Ladder Racks. They are also available for all Jap utes, Ssang Yong, Great Wall and Tata.

The true beauty of the Rail Mount design is that your tray remains unobstructed. More room for cargo – after all, that’s why you bought a Ute !

Ladder Racksare available for all Aussie, Jap and USA Utes, including Table Tops. Designs are specifically tailored to each ute – matching the slope and profile of the cabin for a great appearance.Ladder Racks can also be matched to roof racks on the cabin, providing a extra long loading area along the top of your Ute.

Canopy Carry Racks mount either on the tray floor or on the top rails, going up thru the roof of the canopy. The whole load is supported by the floor or top rails. A special boot seals around the bars to prevent water entering.

Conduit Carrier

To help carry long (light) loads consider a Conduit Carrier, which can be mounted off your Nudge Bar or Bull Bar. For later model vehicles we have airbag compatible nudge/H-Rack combinations. The sockets accept the base of the “T” carrier, which can be installed/removed in seconds. If your Conduit Carrier is aligned with your roof racks and rear bars, you can easily carry conduit and other light, long loads.

Tow Racks

Tow Hitch mounted Rack. HitchRack ™. A strong steel rack designed to replace the removable tow hitch in all standard vehicles- utes, wagons and sedans. NOTE THAT THE RATING CANNOT EXCEED THE DOWNWARD FORCE RATING OF THE TOWBAR. Suitable for occasionally carrying canoes, ladders, conduit, piping , etc when coupled with vehicle mounted roof racks.
